Pelton water turbine is a hydraulic prime mover that converts water energy into mechanical energy by drawing a free jet with kinetic energy by means of a special water guiding mechanism, rushing to the runner water bucket, and rotating the runner to do work. The impact turbine is suitable for high-head, small-flow power stations. It converts water from pressure pipes into high-speed jets through nozzles, tangentially impacts the runner, and pushes the runner to rotate, thereby driving the generator rotor to generate electricity. In impact turbines, the relative positions and working times of working jets and runners can be divided into impact turbines, oblique impact turbines, and double-click turbines.
